Rods right at the bottom! Drop the box they just hit the floor.
They were fine but why do this? And yet it is the couriers that get a bad name. Something delicate would be wrecked.
It strikes me as odd how they put stuff in the bottom of a box and then all the packing on top. Surely they should pit the item in the middle of the packaging to protect it on all sides.
It’s called not giving a s#*t and is sadly far too common.
Packaging needs to be secure enough to survive the game of box golf couriers play with it.
The rods'll have been packed by someone on a zero-hours min wage contract at a packing station, told by the computer exactly how much 'paper roll' protection to use, so that's what you got.
It didn't tell him/her exactly where in the standard size box to place the item and that's what snookered the contract....like they'd care.

Out of interest there's a new'ish packaging company near me.....
Very eco friendly, they are using pop corn instead of poly bubbles...
yes POP CORN, no caramell tho...hahaha...
Not bad eh...
But no! Rods right at the bottom! Drop the box they just hit the floor.
