Just spotted this beauty on the usual site.
I bet it's a metal munching machine!
The sad thing is someone has actually bid for it!

Looks like a pillar drill head stuck on to a mill column.
I doubt the quill bearings will last long :vsad:

A performance power drill at that, B&Q own brand, to be fair it's not completely horrible stuff but a deckel it is not.

I took ownership of a free home made bench drill the other day, no idea what kind of drill the quill and bits was harvested from but I'll get some pictures up soon.

EDIT: No it isn't, just looked at the other pics in the listing.

There's certainly worse things they could have done with an old Deckel column.

The description is misleading as there is no mention of the top half being a different manufacturer.

From the description I'm confident they don't have any idea what they have.

I do all my drilling in the back garden, next to the bin.

    Thought it was normal?

It appears that the Seller has been tasked with clearing out some stuff. That would explain why they don't have a Scooby what they've got, also where it's located.

    Shame the price it extortionate.

That would make a good tool instead of an overpriced joke, it's just a shame some unsuspecting bidder has jumped in, they will be disappointed!
