Hi everyone
got a bit of a problem :-(
Not only am I new to tig welding, but I have a paice of ally to weld that is cast, thin and look very cheap in manufactor.
The part is not made any more, so I will just have to give it a go.
Sorry for the lack of info, BUT I will take some photos of the item tomorrow.
its forms a part of a belt sander, its looks like half a noon shape, a tilting table tilts on this and it has a pointer on it for degress.
any ideas on how to weld it with out it just melting
Thanks guys
Ps, I have a A/C D/C tig set so no probs there
