so I am respraying my back quarters after welding in new arches. Base is an octoral solvent metallic with a Mipa HS 2K clear on top.
I have done a terrible blend in that I didn't take the clear past the edge of the metallic - double-triple-facepalm.
So now I've wet sanded through the join line, and can see the exposed metallic.
Now I know how I'm supposed to do a blend, I'm wondering if I can correct without respraying everything I just put down.
If I clear over the current exposed metallic/clear line, will it hide that line?
Or will I need to metallic over the join and create a new clear/clear blend below it and another one above it? (Old paint is higher up (roof and sides of rear glass).)
