Right, well here you go: I have been stuck in bed since yesterday and I spent ALL last night talking down the big white porcelain telephone. Now If I could pay someone to make this all go away I would. The "benefit" then is I could g back to work and earn. So By benefiting from the treatment and therefore being able to go back to work and earn money to be taxed on?...... Can you see where I am struggling with this. If anyone has a "cure " for my current dilemma I would love to hear it. In the last 48 hours I have had 2 slices of toast and 2 sachets of Dioralyte - which is disgusting by the way.

same here all i can say is if your young enough dont go riving and pulling thinking your the big man its not worth it take more care of yourself

To be honest, I was going to do just that and make up for the day I have lost. I might just have a crumpet instead.

Hi, I suffered from a bad back which just got worse as I got older, had multiple sessions with a chiropractor. Eventually a couple of years ago I got referred to a physiotherapist who told me that the problems were with the muscles on my lower back. She gave me half a dozen simple exercises to do on a daily basis (20 mins or so)
It took around 4-5 weeks of doing this but it cured it.
Im not exaggerating when I say that some days I struggled to put my socks on and running was out of the question.

You do need to persevere it’s not an overnight fix but hopefully it’ll work for you too, I was told that my problems stemmed for spending too much time sitting down at work. Which is not something I can prevent due to my job.

If your problem is muscular as opposed to sceletal the chiropractor sessions will not help (so I was told by the physio)

I was referred for physiotherapy at the beginning of October for what sounds like a similar thing.

I also put contacts through and ultimately laser on my eyes. I can’t do my (then) job with glasses (can’t wear BA) so contacts were a must. That’s how I justified it anyway.

I tried a variety of chiropractors with zero benefit. I hobbled, doubled over, into the osteopath's clinic and practically skipped out. Astonishing.

You need to be careful for 24 hours afterwards then follow his/her advice re exercise.
