I recall that there was a thread about a hand grinder that rotated backwards but I can't find it to see what the conclusion was.
Its just that I've come across a Parkside 4.5" cordless grinder & the disc spins the opposite way to normal. The guard is also missing meaning that when you try & use it normally it is firing the sparks straight at you! The disc clamp nut is normal thread so I should thing that would mean the disc would be prone to coming loose under use.
I've told the guy that owns it that it's likely wired wrong but he says it has been like that from new.
