Double fronted with a very long hall way.
Socket circuits were 1. kitchen & living room, 2. rest of bungalow 6 rooms + hallway - sorted this out 2 years ago but left the lights till now.
Light circuits as above, but this genius has a bad habit of using single and earth cable, a good example are the external porch lights - s & e to first light, t & e to 2nd light, s & e back to JB, both red without any sleeving. Yes it's easy to see what had been done if your in the loft, but not outside.
As I've said before I'm running both circuits off one rcbo as there is a borrowed N (or L) somewhere. After 2 hours crawling around the loft, I had to give up as I was aching too much (and other problems).
I need to split the circuits to left and right of hallway and put front hall lights on one side and the rear on the other, but rather than use 3 core and earth, it's t & e + s & e, no sleeving. Not helped buy having 8 down lights in kitchen (fitted by kitchen fitters with long lengths of cable everywhere) and 4 uplights in the living room. And to add to the fun I've found 2 s & e cables just cut off, not even terminated - more loft insulation to lift to trace them. .
I'm almost tempted to rip it all out and start from scratch, but with my health I'll end up with no lights over the winter.
I know that if I find the right starting point it will all fall into place and be very easy, but I haven't found that point yet.
Moan over.
