Well guys as some of you know I won my New Lorch 252 in a wager with my boss. I finally had a need to use it yesterday and it performed flawlessly, in life you certainly get what you pay for (or in my case what you win ) I just need to get around to figuring out the different setting now LOL A really big thanks to Matt for setting me up with this brilliant machine
The power needs turning up a bit, it will give you a flatter bead profile and less/no spatter. Get it into spray transfer easy enough on that thickness. Looks like they keep you busy repairing stuff.
Something is either broke bent or worn out on a daily basis, it keeps me busy Im either driving hgv's and moving hazardous waste, operating 360's and loading shovels, fixing plumbing or anything else that comes up In the summer its not bad...................... but laying in the mud in winter can be a bit of a drain whenever a problem arises and it needs to be sorted quick Improvise Adapt Overcome
some places (not all) on the tinterweb are asking around £1600 inc vat, if your interested in one give matt1978 a pm, he is the Lorch agent here in the UK and I am sure you could get a better deal thru him
Just found this old thread, and I'd like to boast that I am now the extremely proud owner of this very machine! I have nothing useful to add here - just bragging!
You will love it every bit as I did, I am now down to three welders which is more normal LOL. Enjoy Windy
