I have an Awelco, although its transformer based.
It only gets light use at home, but is a capable machine.
I must have had it about 10 years, possibly even longer, trouble free.
Built to a price, but quite capable...maybe their other variants are like that.
Afraid I cannot help regarding the inverter models.
I have had the 210amp transformer type now for about 7 years. Been reliable over that time. It is now starting to show its age as its stored out side under a tarp so the case is rusting badly.
I had a welder made by Awelco, rebadged and sold as BlueMIG 120 in Australia by Bunnings.
It was one of the worst purchases I've ever made, the wirefeed was as predictable as Melbourne weather. In the end, we had a barbeque at my place once and one aqaintaince ended up quite drunk and I managed to sell him the welder there and then. He hasn't spoken to me since. But he did save me a trip to the tip.
