Hi guys, I've asked a similar question some time ago however I never actually got around to buying a welder due to a change in circumstances.
Anyway, I'm looking for a good reliable welder for vehicle restoration, modification and fabrication (including chassis alterations, engine mounts). I'm also keen to be able to weld in stainless and weld aluminium alloys. Finally a welder that is multi functional (mig, tig, arc) would be nice so I can learn different methods.
First of all, what would you guys suggest best for the auto work I suggest above? My budget would be up to £600 and i would really like to buy new for warranty purposes.
Secondly, does a multifunction machine exist in my price range that's even worth considering or is it too much to ask?
Cheers guys!
