I can do it already, but looking for a better (faster) way....

Currently, I will do as follows;

1) Select the relevant font/size and type the 'Text' on the screen.
2) Use Txtexp command.
3) Use the Trim command to remove any stray lines within the letters.
4) Join, to make into continuous polylines lines (suitable for cnc cutting)


I notice I can use Region to create a seperate polyline outline, which seems slightly easier....
But is there an easier method?

Your method seems different to mine, but then mine was with an ancient version -

At the end of editing, explode all text (save as different file name after explode). IIRC explode was on the express menu on the version i was using.
Then convert all to poly
Then poly line join

This may not be applicable for your version, or your application, but might be worth looking at?

Mine is 2015, with express.

That seems to work too, time about the same, its trimming the stray lines that seem to take the most time.
Does that happen with all the fonts?
