I bought an Auto-vox reversing camera off Amazon a few years ago for my van. Customer services were very helpful in sending me a longer cable and a device to stop interference on the screen.
Yesterday I found an email in my junk folder from them offering a free trial of their latest magnetic rear camera.
I replied and got a message today.
The trial isn't really free. I have to buy the camera on amazon and they say they will refund me 90% of the cost. Once I review it I get the other 10% back.

Had it have been cheap I would have chanced it as I was considering getting one for the car. But £140 is a bit too much to risk.
Besides which a camera that has to be removed and charged every day is not suitable for my use. I guess it is aimed at truckers to put on their trailers. I can't understand how it knows when you are reversing and activates itself.
I sent them a polite reply stating that I will only take part in the testing if they send me a camera FOC. I'll let you know what the outcome is!
