I ran out of juice right in the middle of the Storey bridge in Brisbane (bit like Sydney's Harbour bridge)... had to push the thing off with about a mile of traffic behind honking at me!

Oh it gets better Warren... we were doing a runner from the Storey Bridge Hotel underneath cause we'd run up a month's rent & were skint!!

I wish I'd done more travelling when I was younger, the most adventurous thing I ever did was a month's interrailing round europe in 1990 .

let me guess you were driving a Mighty Holden??????

I had some old 70s estate with a V6 in it 3 speed auto and wood venner rear tail gate, was such a heap of S*** first to second was pot luck it liked 1st to 3rd which would then stall it, made it right across the bruce highway tho, and cains to melborne.............

No, a Ford Falcon... 4.2Ltr. bench seats, column auto change, alloy's... 90mph flat out!
Loved it though, cruised all day at that & never any trouble.
