The salt is going to ruin the bike.

So if the bike stalls for whatever reason then it sinks Rider wearing biking gear, boots & helmet but no life jacket is going to struggle to stay afloat so they might end up with the bike at the bottom of the ocean !

I've checked with KTM. As I suspected this does invalidate the warranty.
