Audi a3 Ignition live feed

sonny boy got a dash cam, for his 14' A3 does anyone know where we can pick up a feed for it.

Could he use a piggy-back fuse off the existing c/lighter fuse? I assume like mine on the Beemer it 'goes to sleep' after 10 mins or so, so no drain on the battery

I'm going to fit a rear-facing camera to mine using that method, off the fuse box in the boot.

I took a feed from a spare blade fuse holder, using a red spade connector. Fished the cables through the roof void.
