a strange one I just looked up my new van details on ask mid insurance database it comes back as a vw crafter and not a Peugeot partner
whats that about

Checked mine ages ago and it came back uninsured, called and it was so I don’t think it’s as cracked up to reality as it should be
I got pulled on my way to the first race meeting of last year, i'd only re-insured the van the day before so it hadn't gone on the database so he gave me a producer. They should rectify that otherwise you could get pulled by plod all the time, they access the same system apparently.

What did surprise me is the copper told me that it isn't compulsory for insurers to be on the mid database, They have to pay to be on their and a few still dont.
it says on the paperwork the ask mid might not update for a few days if yours isn't thereDidn't know that,......what a crazy situation.

I got a nasty letter from the DVLA once saying my bike wasn't insured. I appears that my insurers took it off the data base a month before it was due for renewal as that was their policy. They have stopped doing it now.
Opportunity to have the Pug 'stolen' and replaced with an VW Crafter perhaps?a strange one I just looked up my new van details on ask mid insurance database it comes back as a vw crafter and not a Peugeot partnerwhats that about
