I have one of the dreaded Armitage Shanks siphonic toilet systems in my upstairs bathroom. As of a few days ago, it suddenly lost 90% of its flushing force.
I’m sure that some will say replace the whole thing rather than repair, but that’s not an option. The downstairs loo is working perfectly.
I think that I already have a new (old stock) air-extractor unit and a new dome seal, but I seem to recall seeing comments that getting these to work well is a black art. Any advice on how to do it would be appreciated.
