u need to cos all the new boilers are crap. i got a baxi boiler and its 35 years old and still in good nick .its only ever had a thermostat and a thermocouple fitted. and all these so called efficient boilers and there outputs are over exaggerated*Chuckles* We sell tons of spares for Ariston boilers, mind you, we sell tons for all the manufacturers. If you need a part, just let me know, we've only got about £3m of stock on the shelves...![]()

and how many boilers have u been and repaired requiring new boards costing a packet in labour and materials 100 ss££££ ive spent 20 quid on mineNot in the slightest, I've ripped out many 35 year old plus boilers and fitted a new condensing one, then done a follow up call to be told how much they are saving on their gas. Modern boilers are more efficient, yes they are more complicated but it's not rocket science to heat a lump of cast up and pump the heat round, extracting 90% of the sensible and latent heat does however require more finesse
