Still not as tidy as Matts results. Black magic!

I need to order a new liner as I think I’ve got a bit of drag in mine.

And Matt does it in Ar/co2 as well.
What were you using

With the technology in the new generation pulsed sets you get some cracking results on stainless and duplex with argon/co2 mixes, the older machines and non pulsed sets still benefit from using gases with a fairly high He content

Hi Brad,

I’ll PM you some settings to try.

Key with keeping the nice colours is all about controlling the heat, so need to weld it as cool as possible (obviously whilst maintaining suitable penetration and wetting)

A 33mm Long contact tip will also be your friend but is not essential
