This comes about, of course, because the volume of the gas at the lower pressure is larger so the flow has to increase to get rid of a larger volume of gas.
I see Jack. Makes perfect sense. I deduce therefore, that in effect the flow meter indication of flow will be inaccurate:
- I.E. as per our example, it would be under reading the actual flow where the Flow Meter calibrated pressure is higher than the pressure set at regulator?
