argentinian mig welders? ????

Hi all, i am a brit living in argentina and i am having problems finding the right welder to buy. Most of the make i have never heard of ( which isnt dificult as i am a full on beginer ) but there are italian makes like TAMIG any body ever heard of them? GAMA?
TORO, DOGO and who knows what other marks. The only make i have heard of is ESAB but the caddy mig costa 1000 pounds ( alot more than in the uk! ).
So what do you reckon I should do? Thanks alot.

Welcome to the forum, like you, apart from the Esab have never heard of them, not sure many on here will have either, all I can suggest is pester some of the local garages and metalwork places to see if there is a common machine thats regarded ok.
