Hi
Bought a new earth clamp and stuck it on the welder today. Seems to have done the trick and finally i got some decent penetration on my butt joints.
Pics show the top and bottom of a 1mm steel butt weld using 0.6MM wire on an argon mix. I just "joined the molten dots" using a thin metal technique.
Im not an expert though - im guessing i need to turn down the wire speed a bit?
Also on the bottom (where there is one rusty sheet) , the "bubbles" look like they have "pin holes" in the middle - is that good or bad?
