Hello all, Purchased an Arc-Gen 330SD and runs great... I was wondering if this could be converted to 240v swapping phases on the alternator. I was hoping that i could run my mig and tig from it if i could convert it.
My worry would be damaging anything by doing this.
I have downloaded the manual for the weldmaker and it appears to be different part numbers for the alternator parts.
Armature Assembly-110V CTE
Armature Assembly-110V CTE
Armature Assembly-110V/220V Dual Voltage
Would this mean the alternator on these machine are fixed at supplying the 110v and cant be converted?
Question is has anybody done this conversion to this generator? I could buy a step up transformer but dont know if this would be suitable.
