I don’t want to be negative, but good luck in finding a youngster that wants to make it.
I’ve employed lots n lots of folk.
They want to rock up and within five mins wanna be the boss
Efficking richard heads
Maybe they should learn how to wipe their bottoms after going for a no 2 first
Bad bad bad experiences, no more time for youngsters
That's not isolated to youngsters though, there's plenty of employees that think there worth fortunes/have done this that etc/or just cant work as part of the team who are equally as useless, that doesn't however make every employee bad just the same as not every youngster is useless.
There was a decent race horse back in Oz called Richard Cranium, still makes me giggle.
thats richard OzmiumRichard Cranium ? Is he the tall fella with the specs that presents that gameshow pointless ?
I hate working as part of a team, and am far more hardworking, working alone. Some people i have come to know over the years are the same, brilliant tradesmen, if you leave them at it, start mithering them and everything grinds to a halt.

Best pencil in some early finishes to balance it out.Add me to that list
My current project was arranged during the summer. I turned up just after new year and got given keys to an empty building and a good sized "to-do" list. The customer calls in a couple of times a week to review things, my main problem now is I'm working quicker than I expected ( my predicted 3 months work should be done by mid-Feb, but has included some late nights when I was on a roll )
I had my nephew working with me on a weekend and in hols from 14 year old. he used to get 40 quid a day .after a few month he was connecting lights and sockets and had a good understanding how they worked .when he was 16 used to get 100 a day and was worth every penny
There will allways be good and bad, and modern days mobile phones have a hand in that
Tell them the phone stays in the locker between breaks.
Its probably the biggest problem, kids cannot concentrate on what they are doing because of phone addiction. The vast majority of them are now permanently wired up to all consuming media of some sort and it rules their lives.
