yeah thats the nearest id came up with ...was thinking the 2x bit meant 1 for red , 1 for blue but looking closer its all wired in series /daisey chain

common enough configuration , just need someone in the know

not overly convinced ..why would it say 2x 3kv instead of 6kv

Well, if there are two 3kV outputs, and they are in series as you stated, then it's a 6kV supply.

i dont think ive explained right

the tubes are connected in series with wire ...then theres 2 wires from the box , 1 wire to each end of the tube , same as most are on youtube /google etc...so what would appear to be 1x in my mind ?
