Anyone worry about using machine tools in cold weather?

My garage workshop is unheated apart from a few heat lamps hanging from the roof. Should I be concerned about using my lathe and mill in these cold temperatures (about freezing here)? Lubrication and condensation are what I’m concerned about rather than accuracy.

I just run the lathe to allow the oil to warm up first without cutting anything.

Mine is unheated except I have a magnetic based infra-red heater which I have yet to require this year. The big thing about my workshop is it's reasonably well insulated. I don't worry about using the machines in cold temps there are places in the worls where it never gets warm. Just keep your oiling pots filled up so the wicks are still pulling oil into the spindle bearings and you'll be fine.

When it's cold things get icy

Just don't use engine oil on the sliding surfaces, the detergent pulls in the water, which lifts off the oil and lets the water nibble the cast iron.
My mill hates the cold and runs slow due to the gear oil so it needs 15 minutes running in low range.
