That was a touch then. Hopefully mine will be the same. Can’t imagine stuff is being inspected as closely at the minute.

May depend on the value they declare it as.
Used to get stuff from Hong Kong and, without asking, they put a low value on the customs declaration. That was fine until customs decided to open it, found a flyer, matched the prices and charged me. PITA thing was I had worked out a deal so had got stuff cheaper than the advertised prices

I gave up buying decent stuff from Hong Kong/China due to me always getting stung by customs, probably because it is sent to a business. I just get from the EU now as it often works out as cheap, that will likely change shortly though.

I find it mad they charge vat on the postage, which in this case is $148

They even charge VAT on the processing fee...
