Anyone use the cheap power coating guns

I’ve used the easy coat powder coat system which is mentioned a few times above and for the price and ease I can’t fault it, was so easy to use and clean too and the results where bang on for my first every attempt

The boy who does all mine uses an eastwoods one about the same as that further up.

Yes, my query was in regards to @graffian 's comment - i was seeking clarity myself.

Just had a look and I should have written their gun used to be a PC03.
Looks like they flog a tribo gun now.

His oven is a big walk in job which is heated off a waste oil burner made from a oil fired central heating unit

In the 80's someone we knew started powder coating, his oven was loads of large infra red panels
on sliding tracks in the floor, with an overhead conveyor to slowly move things past the panels. It was a lovely place to go on a cold winter day.

I use the electrostatic magic gun and a halogen oven for curing. The halogen oven limits the size of item I can coat. However, some people take the head from one or more halogen ovens and make a larger oven with them.
If you put a good oven thermometer inside the cheap halogen oven it gives you a second opinion about the temperature inside.
