Anyone travelling north from Essex with a trailer or van/lorry?

@Keith 66 's friend has a hydraulic press that I'd like to buy but, I'm in Shropshire and he's in Essex.

Is anyone travelling all or part of this journey? it's a pretty big press i would guess about 200kg and 6ft tall. Can be unloaded at my end with a gantry.

I am of course happy to pay, thanks in advance.

Was due to travel down on monday but mixup with wifes shifts meant no go with baby watching it is an 8 hour drive each way for me.... So i have arranged with the dude to travel down 22nd August. I put a shiply advert up and the results have been amazingly expensive, think couriers charge about £1/mile going by prices

So i will probably be traveling back from Essex on 22nd with my trailer with spare capacity, not sure on space as i still havnt got dimensions from seller, so not sure i can help with your press?
Or if someone happens to be traveling from Essex to Scotland anytime soon? is forcast to cost about £150 in fuel.....

Job for @fizzy surely, should fit on a double pallet and be cheaper than the fuel costs...

Thanks for the responses all! As @chrisg3103 found, Shiply seems to be cheap enough if someone is going that way anyway otherwise it's dis-proportionally expensive in my experience.

@fizzy just quoted me a price for a double pallet (probably significantly heavier than yours) to go the length of the M4 and was a very reasonable price.

Thought about pallet, but buyer dosnt want to go hunting a pallet and trying to secure it, also very quick scan of shipping sites and a double half pallet was coming in at about £180 to go the length of the country. Might be cheaper but the not being able to get it on a pallet anyway sort of killed that idea
