Anyone recognise this case?

It's an olympus style but not branded so I don't think it's medical.

Looks like it would suit some sort of inspection camera or borescope or something?

Aye, looks like a fibrescope case, we used to have a few Olympuses on our hire fleet.
It's not an Iplex as that was a different arrangement.
Looks like the foam slot is cut for three different lengths of fibre (the dead ends at top left, bottom left, bottom right).

It's got the removable insert in it which I've not seen before.
Maybe just to suit different kits rather than intended to be removed for use?

It's far more recent than the Olympuses we had; some were ex-bomb squad robots from the 1980s!
