As part of my tig welder cart i'm beginning to build, i want a couple of drawers in it, unfortunately the size of them is larger than the little 3 in 1 press brake / guillotine / roller tool i have (max 1mm sheet, max 305mm width)
I was thinking of making the drawers from 1.5mm mild steel sheet... is that too heavy for just a couple of drawers? they will have a 3mm front plate welded on them to turn them into drawers.
Below are my 'plans' 2 drawers and one cover piece that forms the sides for the small drawer's runners to attach to (it'll be placed over the drawer like a lid)
I've tried contacting a few places that sell sheet steel guillotined to size, but none have got back to me about folding to make them into drawers.
My other alternative is to get the individual panels cut, then use some 20mm x 1.5mm angle and weld them up, but i really want to avoid that if i can.
