Anyone here do Nickel Plating at home?

Just wondering if anyone on the forum does a little Nickel plating at home, just small stuff like nuts, bolts etc. Going to be in the next 2-3 weeks I'll need stuff done.

Can buy a kit but for this rather just drop someone a crate of beer as it would just be another thing for me to learn as well as the cost for a full kit.

I've done some in the past with a relatively cheap kit off eBay, just (literally) ordered a better kit that also does yellow passivating as I've got quite a pile of bits off my project(s) that could do with this finish as I think it looks more correct than plain silver. That kit should arrive in about ten days so I'll be experimenting then.
