Anyone have any experience of those Vevo style air jacks?

Like the image below. I need something that works on gravel as I don't have any concrete areas to jack the car up. I was wondering what these things are really like. Trolley jacks don't work on gravel but this looks like it would, assuming they aren't complete junk.

I put a board down for running my trolley jack on, if on a difficult surface. I don’t have any experience of these air jacks, but would avoid them if possible.

Yes, they give no stability but lift great and easy to use.

Sorry for late repsonce i ahve been luvin it to much with the new pride n joy . I have used them for a while now. in the lifts i made and on there own.

I find them great. The ones i use ar the ones from vevor with no wheels. Never find the need for the wheels. There good quick and easy. They have movement once near full height but then i would expect it a little when say lift to 450mm and there will be even with a trolley jack, they need to move, these bend/f;lex . I have never found them unstable.

I would think on gravel they would work well with the good base they have., maybe better with a bigger foot print with a slight bigger ply board. Same as always though, use axle stands once up. so you will need spreader boards for them.

I have nothing bad to say abotu them, but its jsut been near 12 months since i have used, them, been used a lot though.

I have a blue version of the one @W.olly shows above. Used it quite a bit, and found it very useful. They have a telescopic central post which gives some stability, but it still wobbles when extended. It's benefit is the lift is straight vertical, rather than in an arc with a trolley jack. Personally, I can't see the benefit over a bottle back.
