I have no experience of either, but I would go for an Rtech mig due to there after sales service & 5 year guarantee. It’s a little bit more, but sometimes have offers & shop soiled machines & there are a lot of satisfied users on here. Just wish I had one!
No idea what their modern inverter ones are like, but based on mine I'd have to say don't. There are much better machines about for the money, Rtech has already been mentioned.
Sip make great welders.I use them day in day out as a mobile welder.Have a sip tig HG 2500 P AC/DC and a sip mig welder which is years old and never let me down.I take them on site work,Car repairs, loading bays,
farm work etc and these welders have managed everything I've thrown at them.
Miller,Lincoln are top notch to name a few but unfortunately out of my price range. I am very happy with my sip welders to be honest.
Take a look at the Paton UK website, the standard Migs have a 5 year guarantee as well. They are currently doing discounts. You get a lot of welder for the money. I have the 200 version - plenty of poke for mig and stick. If you do go for one make sure you the version with the knobs on the front! Easier to turn with gloves on.
