its a POWERCRAFT TURBO FAN 130 anyone owend one before.
i got it of a friend who lets just say has abused it. i wish i had taken some pictures of it before i took upon spending most of the day to sort it out. the friend tells me he was welding just fine with it and that was with the rusty wire roll you see in the picture which 20% of it was tangeled up and rusty. i tryed to tell him its a gasless welder and the wire he had was gas shielded wire not the flux coted type. i am no expert but it seams to be welding ok now. luckily.
i had to put in a new wire feed. the one in was blocked with wire, the same 0.6 rusty wire on the roll that you can see in the picture.
i had to make a new wheel tightener as there wasn't one. i used a part from of a old broken trypod stand for that. drilled then pined, then some araldite glue.
the inside of the gun was quite rusty so that had to be all cleand out.
the rubber on the swan neck was missing so i had to put some on thier.
the spool sring and tightener was also missing. so found a couple of bit for that.
last job was to clean off all the bits of paint on the casing. oh and he through out the lid which has the handle on so i am going to have to make one. i was thinking maybes i could use an old style pc case for to make that.
so the things that you collect over the years that go in to the bits and bobs tubs came in handy once again.
