Just do it when the farmers are out combining/dusting/muck spreading/spraying their fields, living next to farmer fields has it benefits, also living in a farming community helps.....

I did a refurbishment on our bathroom recently that involved a lot of filling and sanding.
I used a henry as an extractor but had a cyclone separator between it and the da sander.
The cyclone collected all the fine dust and only clean air left the henry.

I use one of these in front of the window for small rooms to get the airbourne dust out....

have a 65cm one for the bigger rooms....
somehow a Henry with a slighty dirty filter works better than the bigger ones ...Have Karcher and others....
will be buying a dust deputy once the wood machines are out of storage....

This is the perfect use of a cyclone attachment they love fine dust , hardly anything gets to my filter now

If you have a Numatic Henry - you can get reusable cloth-type bags for a few quid off EvilBay. There's a nylon zip around the top do you can empty the bag (also turn it inside out to clean it - blow it out with an airline etc).
My daughter used mine with one in as a dust collector while sanding etc an old staircase & woodwork in a 3-storey house - seemed to work pretty well.

I've also recently bought an 8" portable variable speed VEVOR extractor fan & some ducting to aid with dusty jobs. (Recently when it's been so warm it's also been used as a Fan only to cool the bedroom at night - it's quieter, more effective & more convenient than a conventional fan on its lowest setting of 10.

I am decorating the downstairs hallway, have taken the old wallpaper off and wanted to sand the walls. I had a day off work to do it when wife and dogs weren’t about so sealed the 3 doorways off with taped plastic sheet and had my Titan vac in the kitchen, double length hose through the plastic sheet. Merrily sanding away most of day, wife comes home from home and goes ballistic, fine dust everywhere in kitchen, lounge, etc

I have the 30L wet and dry vac. Had it a year and use it without dust bag in garage or whatever. I thought I would use the paper dust bag supplied with it, as very fine dust. Well the paper bar was about 1/4 full with a split all the way down one side, so the dust was too fine for the round filter and blew out the exhaust.
So, eventually to my question, are all the titan bags **** or just this one, is there a better alternative, as I have more to do and slso use it to extract wood sanders too and would like to use a dust bag for that too.

My ancient ( 38 yrs old ) Vax finally died on Wednesday morning . I went to Screwfix and purchased a 90 litre Titan wet & dry jobby.

One look at the tissue paper bag that came with it and like yours ..... the slightest dampness and some fine dust and it will rip open .

My solution is what I've done on my own vacuum cleaners for those of friends and family .

Make three thin alu replacas of the card board mouth mounting plate .

Cut up a stout rubber glove the to the same size as the plate and carefully cut the same sized sealing hole in the rubber then Evostick or Copydex both masks together with the rubber seal correctly positioned..
Clamp it flat for 48 hrs. and go shopping for a couple of yards of strong fabric , . sew up an open ended pillowcase the same size of the paper one plus two inches longer .

Save some four pint plastic milk bottles and cut them in 1/2 " strips.
Sew these strips on the outer side of the mouth. of the " Pillow case" you have made ....I used my lasses sewing machine on zig zag , doing several several runs round the case , ensure you don't have one joint opposite another .

Making the closer device ,.
Get couple of foot of 20 mm rigid plastic conduit , draw a line along its length by laying it flat and simply slide you marker pen along its length without rolling the tube Now very carefully cut along the line with a thin blade in an angle grinder ..without cutting the other side through .

I slipped a 14 inch 4 mm strip of steel in the slit , put the tube between two batons of wood slight nipped the in the vice and use a paint stripper electric gun to warm the plastic that showed. Once it was warmed I clamped it a bit tighter so it deformed to look like an incandescent light bulb .

Left it to cool so use the time to gently drill all three plates with 1/16 holes ever 1/8th inch round the hole and the outer edge making two holes able to take a 3 mm nut & bolt to get an exact alignment on all three plates .

That done .
I went back to the closer , took out the steel strip wood and used a doubled over fine sand paper to smooth the edges of the cut , reheated one end a bit and used pliers to open it up to give a feed in slot/mouth for the bag tobe fed into .
While that was cooling I copydexed glued the plates in place on the new reusable dust bag then when set used double stitching with waxed linen thread & cut the unwanted bit of cloth out .

Closing the.bag.
I chose to make use of the sewn seams by taking the ends back along themselves (like a cheap fold flat bag shopping bag ) as this gives the best seal
Carefully fold over the opening half an inch once , slide the closer over the folded material . Then put the plate with the rubber seal you made over the in port spout .

Thinking things through as I type this time I shall be making this bag several inches wider & longer than the paper sack bag so when it fills it won't tear away from the inlet port housing .
I will also be making two or three such bags ,as I've done previously , for if one gets a bit damp & clogs I can quickly put a clean dry one on and then empty and wash to previous one then leave it in the green house to dry off.

Edit , checked the vacuum cleaner today when I measure up for the cloth bag . It is a 40 litre tank not a 90 litre one
