anyone got a Henry vacume cleaner ?

Hi all, i have a no name Henry clone, had it about 30 years now and i need some dust bags for it, the spigot inside the drum is 62 mm dia, i was wondering if someone could measure theirs and if it is 62mm let me know and the model number please.

Hi,
I just measured mine in my fairly new Henry (NRV200) and it is about 47mm OD. Sounds like yours is bigger. For reference I use the HEPA bags and they are reasonably cheap.

Costco is one of the cheapest places for the bags, I think a box of 80 is about £30

Mine are NVM 1C/2 and measure 50mm at the nozzle opening if that helps.

Nip into a local Wilko"s, and see if their universal bags will fit that opening. They're what I use in my cylinder vacuum cleaners.

You might need the numatic nb4 hepa bags as they are designed for the bigger vacuums. The beauty of the nb4 bag is that you can cut them in half to remove the rubber flange and simply fold them over any canister type vacuum then refit the top and use them. The bag doesn't collect the dust but it filters the dust from entering the motor.

Got to love Henry's there's so many of them around that spares cost a fraction of normal vacuum part prices.

I get mine from this wee old repair shop in Aberdeen. What a fantastic shop, it's like stepping back in time with stuff all over. The bags cost next to nothing from him and probably worth going to somewhere like that if you're not sure.

I have a Bulldog branded shop cleaner made by aqua vac, the spigot on that is 62mm, these fit perfectly

wandered into the new Bunnings store near me yesterday as my car was being MOT,d and looking in the tool dept as you do, i spotted some bags of the right size.
