i was led to believe its up to the theft victim to claim their goods from cash cons? they definately have forms for claiming stolen goods and will take it off the shelf for a period of time untill its proven whether or not its stolen.Seemingly one of them in Dundee (not mentioning which) were knowingly handling stolen kit (a lot) one of the photography students had his very expensive camera lifted from the local college, literally set it down, turned to get something and it was gone.
Walked past and it was in the window, shop staff weren't interested and seemingly it "vanished" before plod arrived.
Went in once, smelt of alkies and everything in there was old and overpriced tat...
this is why if you sell something to them they require a form of id they can copy and take a picture of the seller
