They don't, most new-ish cars are on finance, the 'drivers' never own them but like people to think they do.... same with the 'service plans', they're all a monthly cost, along with the tax, insurance etc. When they have to pay for something not included, brake discs & pads for example, you should hear the ******* & moaning they do!I have noticed nearly every car is under 5 years old. They have sold a hell of a lot of 23/73 plates! All driven like complete dick holes. Cost of living crisis! Everyone has a new car.
I dont understand why people spend 20-60k on a car to avoid 50 quid in tax.
I shall stick with my 2009 Mazda6. While I remember I should do breakdown insurance for it, last time gave up be because everwhere thinks it or the bike (2003 cbr6) are too old.
Similarly, given the price of fuel, I make damn sure I enjoy burning it! Especially when I'm road-testing someone elses' carI now take the long route on all my journeys just to get the full use of my £325 road tax.
Someone told me what the local lr rr dealer was charging an hour for serrvicing ,,,, long story short it was so ridiculous I had to ring and get the facts ,,,They don't, most new-ish cars are on finance, the 'drivers' never own them but like people to think they do.... same with the 'service plans', they're all a monthly cost, along with the tax, insurance etc. When they have to pay for something not included, brake discs & pads for example, you should hear the ******* & moaning they do!
I'd say so, as long as my ULEZ compliant 2 tonne Dodge 5.7ltr V8 counts tooAs road tax was getting silly and the lez are spreading as was the rust on my non eco friendly disco I decided it was time to be sensible so I bought a ulez compliant 2tonne 3.5ltr petrol 4x4, does that count.
I did want a suburban but it wouldn't fit on the drive and wasn't sensible apparentlyI'd say so, as long as my ULEZ compliant 2 tonne Dodge 5.7ltr V8 counts too![]()
