Anyone familiar with LaTeX?

As in, the typesetting language, you dirty sod.

I want to create a new environment that works just like align but makes the last line bold. I could (And have been) doing it like this:



Basically, I'm too lazy to type "\boldsymbol{}" a load more times if I can avoid it. I know it's possible to create a new environment and I'm sure what I want is perfectly achievable but I can't figure it out.

Thought I'd try here before I join the scary world of StackExchange and ask there.

Speaking of lazy, I've even got an AHK script to type all those "F_{}"s for me and leave the cursor in the bracket.

I used to write reports using Latex in Vi.
But then LYX came along, to start with you could write like a
wisywig program and just add latex code inline where wanted, but last time I used
it they had made it so you hardly needed latex, did help to figure out the errors if it errored.

Never used it. Can't you create user defined functions, else just use an editor where you can buffer the \boldsymbol part for easy insertion when required?

Cant you use the bm package? and then it should just be \bm{\alpha} for a bold alpha ?

There's nowt wrong with Vi. That's my favourite *nix editor.

I preferred Vim but in some circles you would be shot for dissent if you say that

I had a server and the o/s was on a 128mb sd card and got copied to ram at boot so it had Nano installed for when it inevitably went wrong
