The handles usually just pop out....
hope not , got a bloody big battery with 2 handles on it and can hardly lift it on to my comp, dont fancy dropping that on my footThe handles usually just pop out....

Any petrol/high value item has to be secured. It's a disciplinary offence if one is left unlocked.I was in Machine Mart on Monday and noticed anything remotely portable or on wheels had security cables on, they must have used miles of the stuff.

Our local Halfords has checkouts nowhere near the door for some reason.Looks like halfords, surprised they need such security the ones I've been in have narrow checkouts at the door. Makes you feel guilty walking out without buying something.
I would think you could sell them to the reloading people.I leave dead batteries outside for scrap,its amazing what they manage to carry
