I was supposed to be doing some general repairs (mostly plastering/woodwork) to a house next door. Go upstairs to decide on order of operations and the chap who lets me in says "Oh by the way J**** was diagnosed with covid. He's downstairs. I'm self isolating. Probably should have told you that first..."

Would have been a nice little earner, not worth drowning in your own lung juice for tho.

Found out late Dec that I still have work in 2021 so that made for a Merry (sorry Happy) Christmas.

Back in a week or so...just nice to have work....no idea how long it will last though!

I can't actually remember the last time I was in, some time in March at the latest! If you look at work I've got due, I never had any time off, 20 pages on transient dynamic analysis on the 17th and fluids exam (Online) on the 27th.

My nephew has stated Aerospace engineering at Southampton. It makes my head hurt looking at some of the maths he’s doing, in his first year

my job is to convert my brothers garage into a workshop when we are allowed. So far I’ve got him a pillar drill, big vice, tons of Han tools, loads of measuring gear, a stick welder and some other stuff

You guys are very exact about dates. I'm hoping to go back to work in 2022, but there might be some bits and pieces to pick up a little cash in 2021.

Not in much of a hurry as I'm trying to get the house saleable. Working on that until I sprained a muscle boxing day (that nasty one at the bottom of the ribs) so I've time this week to mess up some software.

Iam on call 24/7 so worked 6 hours boxing day but got Xmas day off which is a rare bonus.
