There is an extenstion box section that fits into it, cut through that as well.Just measure up the hole in the middle and see if you can get a bit of bar the right size to stuff in there.

Um I have a friend with a mill.if you have a milling machine obtain a length of square aluminium mill it to the size of the box in the middle a tight fit and tap it home .3 inch either side should be enough to keep it parallel. Loctite it in as well you could also braze it with technoweld rods and a blowtorch on the outer surfaces and v a bit out
