New one to me. At first I was trying to work out who's engine they are using but from that link it's evident they've made the engine too !!
Nice but aren't they re-inventing the KTM, Husqvarna, Husaberg wheel ?

Nice. Funny you should say KTM, their MX bikes were*, very twitchy at speed because of the steep head angle. So that Flat tracker would be interesting at speed







*I say "were" not sure what they are like now. OK for MX but you really needed a damper for enduro.

my old ktm duke was fairly stable at a ton the husaberg i rode was very twitchy but weighed 80odd kilos so i couldnt complain!

I love wasting time on the knee slider. It does look very much like the flat tracker bikes from the states. I really love the ccm flat tracker bike that was very limited production run. I really love the simpleness of whats not fitted

Quite right. Doesn't always work though I ripped my hamstring out of my ****, crossing a ploughed field flat out on a 400yxf* in an enduro trying to stop head shake. I failed I can laugh now, I didn't at the time





* flatout on a 99 Yam yzf400 is around 95mph on the flat

That bike is made by the only motorcycle manufacturer that is left in Sweden. It started out life as (I think) a 750 then grew to 950.

You are all wrong about the engine, its from a company in the southern part of Sweden, called Folan - I know that because they are one of my customers!

Highland in the US is a subsidiary of the swedish one. Unless of course you mean Folan, they are still where they have always been....

I will check up when I speak to Folan though, just for curiousity.

It is Highland I'm referring to. AFAIK they have relocated to the USA. I knew I'd seen that engine somewhere before !! Had forgotten all about Folan. What do you supply to them ?

The easiest way to explain it is Engineering Consultants, mostly for projects outside of their normal areas.

After having a little dig around, it seems that you are correct. all manufacturing takes place in Tulsa, but apparently all development still takes place in Sweden.
