I've been doing a lot of reading up on the Polyx, its something I've never come across before and it seems to be getting rave reviews. Its a German product and comes with all sorts of DIN testing data that suggests its resistant to staining from a variety of food stuffs and liquids and is very simple to apply and maintain. It can even be buffed up to a shine using a machine polishing system. It is quite expensive at almost £23 for 750ml nut a little seems to go a long wayPolyx is heat and liquid resistant and 'looks natural ' I find pre cat ok for softwood but looks wrong on oak
