I have a rather large CNC lathe in my home garage with a Siemens 820T control that uses a Simodrive 610 AC Servo Drive crate to drive the axis's
Having resurected the controller from a major issue years back (lithium battery goo disolving pcbs in the controller) I've had it up and running nicely. However I've never been convinced that the servos are properly set up - particularly the Z servo in the gain and dead band areas.
Although I've got a bit of documentation on it and have tweaked it a bit I have never ended up happy that it's 'right'
Ideally I'm seeking an expert who can hold my (figerative) hand and get me through this last issue - obviously on a paying basis.
Any Siemens 610 AC servo experts out there?
