Any raspberry pi-ists?

While we're on, is there a good old-fashioned paper book on programming in Node-Red? I can't be pestered watching Youtube and rummaging through forums (fora?), a book is much easier to refer to in moments of head-scratching...

I don't know of one, although I believe there is online documentation? (Which could be printed out?) [1]
It's mainly the JavaScript/JSON bits that I can't get my head around.
Not the logic/commands as much as the syntax; too many curly brackets, dots and semicolons.

And don't get me started on bl***y YAML, with its exact number of spaces and hyphens.



[1] I found the Node red cookbook useful when I'm doing any programming - I tend to learn best by following examples.

I have actually ordered one as I'm using Arduinos on custom boards with CAN bus added and doing some stuff between them. If nothing else it's quite a nice way to be able to interface with CAN bus for diagnostics and not have to worry about power etc.

I’ll start by saying my computer knowledge extends to ebay and Amazon.....

However, looking at what I can do for gauges in the Landy and have come across autopi, however it requires OBD II input, which I obviously don’t have. Is there any way of utilising standalone electric senders to provide the necessary info? I’d like to just have one unit that can play tunes, do nav and display temps and pressures for oil, air and water

I'm not sure if you already found a solution, sorry if you did. However, I might have a solution for what you are searching.
This developer kit from the same company you mention, doesn't require an OBD II input. Let me know if it helped.

Think I’m going to go with the old faithful gauges, there’s a lot of faffing that’s beyond my very basic computer skills!
