One of my granddaughters makes silver rings/jewelry from old silver items and cutlery etc, Some of them quite stylish and all very well made,
I did a job at a so called antique shop and said to the owner bric-a-bracTry a junk shop for silver cutlery. Or what is known these days as an antique dealer.
I can get you Silver and other precious Metals.
Dads best mate is a diamond and metals dealers.
Only kicker is you’ll have to go Hatton Garden in London
No Hilti required
And I don’t think you can apply “Cheap”
I watched a documentary a few years back based in Hatton Garden, the featured a company that came along and performed deep cleaning of the jeweller's workshops every nook and cranny was vacuumed up. The bags were then sealed up weighed, they went off somewhere to be incinerated and the fine metals to be recovered.
It was amazing how much metal was cast basically from the contents of a henry hover bag.![]()
He is actually, also has a heart of gold
