it looks like carpet but it actualy just a rag i use them all the time and every time when im doing a carb as it stops bits rolling around and running away on to the floor
I bought one for a 12hp. Kohler and fit and worked perfect for $25. Evidentally the last one on FleeceBay as the ad dissapeared. Dealer wanted $400 if possible to find.Been obsolete for a while He said.
Last year the wife came downstairs and shouted in " what the **** you cooking it stinks " sheepishly I had to reply "Carburettor. ""Yes " my wife wud kill me for assembling stuff in the middle of the livn room floor! I have the no. of a guy that shampoos carpets if required . LOL.
its running at the moment i went looking onlinw fore a carb kit cant easy see one but can get a new carb china copy for £11 cant think that i could get a rebuild kit for that sort of money any one else us one of the china copy carbs had any luck with them
I've used a couple, they are not copies as the original Walbro and Zama are also made in China. They work just as good as your removed carb but generic kits are available for most carbs like the Walbro WA/WT series. Look at the carb body near the throttle linkage and there might be a serial number to google and find a kit. Last one I bought I had to wait for it coming from China but it cost £1.99 including post for a full kit and the UK seller wanted £10 for just a diaphragm.
