Any know a friendly Sun Gas Analyser engineer?

Any one out there use Sun Gas kit at their garage?

I've bought a couple of DGA1800 and managed to get them both up and running.

One of them needs a calibration, don't mind spending the money but don't want to pay a load of money then find the unit is no good.

Ideally could do with contacting the local guy for Herefordshire or nearby for a chat.

I know I can phone Sun but the calibration is £140+vat which I'm happy to pay but don't want to book it and find the machine is no good.

Hi, I haven't personally used one, so can't comment exactly on the workings of them, but we use two in a garage I work from. They don't let us down and they are hammered day in an day out. All we do is keep the inline filter on the petrol emissions tester probe clean by regular replacement to keep a good portion of the condensation out. We had to change machines a year ago, as we were told it didn't comply with newest regulations, so please phone them before spending any dosh on them.
